It Is most likely Sicilian White,a good fig in dryer Summer not so good in rainy Summers. |

Had no real taste it was very bland and tasted unripe but yet it was wet inside soft skin hanging like it was ripe and had some sugar at the base? |

It does seems to favor my Sicilian White as VS stated. It's not Peter's Honey. PH is a honey fig with a gold center-----very rich and very sweet. |

Tony it looks similar to one I have that I call Vince's Unk. which some say maybe White Ischia. Mine will drip honey if allowed to stay on the plant longer. |

Jim,I do not Know,about flat stem on Sicilian white,but I know some cultivars do have flat stems on the fruits,it is not unique to your fig. |

Hey, Herman you think Brooklyn white genoa white and Sicilian white are the same fig Or the all split the same way? |

They split ans loose flavor in the rain the same and if leaves are the same side by side ,then they will be the same. |
