I just walked out side and looked at my baby olympian and one of the figs started to droop. a closer lok I saw it had inlagered, started to turn purple and the one leaf was turning yellow. Will a small plastic covering help ripen the figs or am I to late to do anything? Being a newbie I thiught I would have to wait till next year for some figs. Seeing this got me excited for a Sunday. |

I would just let it do its thing and hope for no frost. Good luck! |

If it is in a pot, bring it in and place it in a lighted spot. It does not have to be a "grow" light. |

Thanks all for your avice. Today I went and weeded a sport in the flower bed in the font to put the trees. I went to get the Olymipian and the big fig was gone. I mean gone, nothing left. Not a hint of what took my first fig. I was heart broken but the flower bed got weeded and there is a spot for the Olympian and DK. I will plant in pots and find a home for them in the spring. Thanks again for the advice. |
