I've gotten very nice fresh figs at Whole Foods, Shoprite, and a local latino/asian market -- but not in December! Does the package say where they're from? |

WF here gets some really good figs in season, but I only buy them loose by the pound so I can pick and choose the best. I have never seen a clamshell package with figs that look like that. Good find! I just picked my last 2 figs today and put the tree in the garage with all the rest. |

Hmmm...can't make out the fine print on the packaging. It say Produced by "somebody" for Gless Ranch, Coachella CA. It says "product of USA", which in this case invariably means southern or central California. What a wonderful place. |
