One week ago or less I moved my blue tub with individualy bagged cutting to green house.. put 18 inch two tubed florescent light above it. Made a foil tent over light and tub retain light. Now it seems leaf formation stopped and fig Production started. Is this normal. ?? Maybe to much light?

It's petty normal, just pop them off the cutting.

But they are so cute.  Like a baby of anything you just love them.  Okay, I will rip them off with my eyes closed.

Keith, I wish they could stay. ...  oh do I.  I don't even let my first year trees have any, my growing season is so short I would rather have the trees grow.  Plus, it seems the young trees start to fruit very late in the season and the fruit will never ripen here with out intervention such as what I did with my second year Sweet George this winter.

I know Scott.  They are my first experience at seeing a real live fig.  Oh well.

It was that way for me in 2013, when Andy told me I had to remove them I was a little heart broken.  Then in 2014, the hail set my figs back months, I just ripened my first artificially in my garage greenhouse a few days ago.

A member donated some cuttings to me (thank you if you are reading) and had figs growing on them. I removed them and now they have small roots coming. Past unk is the variety. To my surprize RDB is the second least vigourus cutting I have after Black Madeira. I thought it would be one of the fastest growers...
good luck. Growing figs means you have top quality cuttings.

Speedmaster. So its a,good thing. I thought i may giving it to much light. Or not enough. I really need to pick them off. Lol. I am going to in the morning. Its strange how you have no action for three weeks then all the sudden bam. Thanks for the replay. Richie

Pop them off and take a big breath that it is the right thing to do. Tough love!

Or... leave it. Let it suck all the energy from the cutting then watch the cutting fail.

Sorry Keith, I couldn't help myself.

It's sad. .. but true.   On the bright side, if it's trying that hard to make figs now. .. just wait till it's mature!!!

Scott that was what I was thinking.  It wants to produce right off the bat so maybe the little plant will be prolific from here on.  I am anxious to see what it does. Oh, I am always looking for something positive so looking forward to what the OP results are.
