No, but I used Liquid Karma w/ Pure Blend Pro on Tomatoes years ago, I was happy with results.  The few Botanicare products I have used all worked well, CNS sometimes fell out of solution with the tap water I was using, and I experienced Cal/Mag deficiencies, so I had to stay on top of it, RO H2O helped.

Ultimately, it came down to costs, I can mix up my own compost tea plus Kelp for much lower costs than the above.  I tend to go an organic fertilizer, teas on in ground veggies, and Dyna Gro products on container stuff because of costs and it works.

Years ago i made compost tea out of worm casings and malasis and a air stone and fish tank pump. It helped with disease and made them grow well. I forgot about doing it. They say the malasis feeds the tiny microbs that are beneficial to they soil and eats fungus on plants. Thanks. Going to make some again.

Compost tea is magic I did it on citrus and eggplants it is magic!! Amazing results in 1 week!!!

How does worm tea work on fig cuttings? I have read in the forum that anything organic might be detrimental to the cuttings and may rot the scion. Can the worm tea be used on cuttings that are just rooting or on the newly sprouted leaves?

I have a worm bin and I harvest castings for my vegitable garden. I would love to try the tea or the castings themselves if I could on the cuttings that are establishing.

I don't use compost tee on my cuttings, I just do not have enough cuttings to experiment on. They work very very good on tomatoes, lettuce, eggplants, citrus, papaya...etc. from my experience.

Yes i agree. Good for a 6 month old tree but i have never used it on any gig. But have used it on vegatable gardon for pest and fungus works grate. And made them grow. I will experiment with cutting from green ischia in yard. It huge so no big deal. Have to brew some tea first.

All these teas give amazing results.  Many forum folks are not aware of the results they give.  I asked a similar question about a year on Swamp Tea.  It's basically the same stuff just in powder form.  Worm casting tea would also work.   I would only use these teas on rooted cuttings after it has leafed out.  Then give the cuttings half the dosage working up to a full dose.  My 2 cents...

Use it too on your veggie gardon. I got a recipe from a book called the art of composting.

I probably wouldn't use it on rooting cuttings, but I would definitely use compost tea on rooted, leafed out cuttings.  I can't imagine any reason it wouldn't work out fine.

I would recommend a weak solution to start. Let's us know how it works out.

Here is my orange leaves before and after compost tea.
I put a bucket filled with water for 24 hours so it loses Cl then I put air stones for bubbles for 2-6 hours. After that I add sugar tben yeast. I add later some compost inside mesh. I pour little Fe and Ca solution then let it bubble for 24 hours until I see foam on it. I pour it and magic happenes.

Calcium and Iron.  

I add blackstrap molasses as the sugar to feed the micro-organisms, it contains a good amount of iron.

Personally, I wouldn't add teas to cuttings unless they were well rooted and like the above posters, well diluted.

I have used Botanicare products and found them effective, easy to use and pleasant smelling. A fine organic fertilizer, though expensive. It's great to see that the information is getting out about the proper way to make compost tea with aeration and sugars to feed the organisms. The old way of just soaking manure or compost for days works, but the tea becomes anaerobic and kills off a lot of the good stuff. Cuttings root fine without any additives, but once transplanted and growing, a mild fertilizer is useful if your planting mix lacks nutrients. Mike in Hanover,VA

I think Swamp tea does the exact same thing as what Speedmaster described.  My hydroponics shop makes a huge batch of swamp tea every week.  You should see their setup, it is a site to see!  They give 1 free gallon of the stuff away every Tuesday.  The stuff is free as long as you bring your own gallon water container with a lid.  If you don't have a container, they will sell you one for a dollar or so.  But their Swamp tea is aerated and everything.  It looks like a science experiment inside the store.  I do use it and its quite good.  And yes it does make a difference in the leaf color and plant health.

I have a 140 gallen fish tank for past 20 years. We are have joice and floor replace in our house that was,built in 1890. Fish tank is going in green house. I saved 40 gallons of the water. Is this considered a tea ? It doesn't stink at all. Have a big canister filter pump. What yall think about this water. I had jack demsey convicts etc. Fresh WATER chiclets.

Here are the results using worm compost tea on fig plants after they were brought out of humidity chamber into shade to harden off. 1st picture is of cuttings from same tree, Williams dark.U and the second picture is Gloria's Celeste.

I have been using the tea on the plants that show larger leaves. Significant difference.

Using Fish Tank water would work. It's being used in the Aquaponics Industry for tons of different kinds of vegetables. The Foxfarm product I use on my cuttings now is made with Earthworm Castings and Bat Guano. Actually after driving to Bill's house I immediately thought his huge Koi Pond was being used for that but after speaking with him he said he didn't

This site has more products that use Bat Guano exclusively. You can make a tea with it also.
