My first and only breba for this variety this year. My De La Reina (MP) is still a young tree. Looking forward to more of the main crop figs. |

They don't get much darker than that! It must get lots of sun. How was the taste? |

Was it a good strong flavor or light flavored? |

Mild rich flavor for a first breba fig! My tree is very young. Last year it's main fig was excellent. I'm looking forward to more main crop figs this year. It is definitely a keeper. |

Leon, my dlr is very small too, probably under 18 inches, it has more little figlets on it than any of the others at this point. Looking forward to the main crop.. |

That looks so good, I still have yet to taste a fully ripe fig from any of my trees. I'm definitely antsy for them to ripen |

Paully- They are both excellent figs but DLR is larger. I think it has a richer taste but that's just my opinion and this is just a first breba for me. |

Looks very similar to a variety called "Niedda" (=black), very common in Sardinia. |
