This is one of the best figs I've eaten. This one probably could have used another day. Plenty more behind it. There's a reason I have 4 trees of this variety. |

Actually I just received my first SV as a gift and will be able to compare the flavors in about 4 weeks so I guess I will bump the thread at that time. Green Ischia I have tasted and is also called verte-while it is a very good fig, and similar in taste, it is also about half the size of Adriatic JH. |

I have an SV and a BG, and was thinking about getting JH but I'm getting very tight on space ..just wondering which would be the best for my area... |

Will do when I get home Vito. 3 of my plants came from Ed Powers, one is originally from Encanto. I think all the leaves are the same. |
