Nice.  How did they taste?  Do you know how long they took to ripen?

This one of my favorite figs, good flavor, large, great grower.  It will get better with age of the tree.  Two crops blended into one long growing season, depending upon rain in early Summer.

Only negative is that it is an attractor for every bee and wasp in the county.  This especially true if figs are left on tree too long.  This is a common trait that is also bad with LSU Gold.

Nice fig Leon, thanks for sharing. Hey Danny. Is it the same as your EBT or different tree?

My figs in general are smaller this season. LaRadek's can produce some really large figs. They physically appear similar to V.Bayernfeige figs but the taste is different. My taste buds prefer the Laradek. This fig is very sweet and has an excellent "fig" flavor for a BT type fig. It is also quite productive. I can't attest to cold hardiness because Albuquerque does not typically get into the single digits during the winter and I keep my potted figs in a shed during the cold months. If cold hardiness is important, than this fig has all the fine attributes of a productive, large variety with an excellent flavor/sweetness for short season climates.

Leon, Looks good. I'll be looking forward to my tree producing some large tasty figs. It got off to a slow start this year so I think it will have to be next year for me.

Tonycm- it's worth the wait. It is a very sweet, flavorful fig. Mine took a while to bear fruit as well.
