So the DK i was gifted not too long ago (thanks again G) has grown to about 2-3' in height on 3 limbs and i just up-potted to a 2 gallon container since i plan on changing soil mixture once it goes dormant to 5-1-1 and don't want to shock it now. |

Wow, he looks really great, Matt. I think I'd remove them, if more growth is what you want. In your climate you may want the growth to start slowing down soon, though, to harden off for Winter. I'm sure you'll get some better advice from members who grow in cold climates, but happy to see how well you've done with it. |

Thanks guys. Gary, I didn't think about trying to slow down growth for winter - that's a great point. I did read wood will harden with figs on it as opposed to none. I will keep them on. Greenfig- I am aware they will drop, I was just trying to I weigh option of leave them on and slow growth or take off and get more vertical growth and potentially lose next year's breba crop. |
