Nick, great video thanks for posting. Question do you know the origin or source of the Green Ischia?

  Thanks,
   Pete

It was a cutting from UCD three years ago.

Thank you for the thorough analysis of these three figs, Nick. I just inquired earlier today on the forum - Adriatic JH vs. green Ischia ( I don't have a GI to compare). This is very helpful. I also was curious regarding the Unk. Lake Spur because I have one but it didn't fruit yet.

Bill, I have a couple of GI airlayers, just let me know if you want one. I still have your CdDB as well!

Well done Nick, thank you for the comparison.  I guess you're the only one with any ripe ULS this year.  The new owner of the mother tree cut it to the ground last Fall and burned it along with the rest of the fence line brush.  It came back from the roots and he's been asking me how to tell when his figs are ripe, having never eaten a ripe fig yet.

Yeah I am surprised that no one elses has fruited or ripened. Mine is prolific. I did let it grow inside all winter, so perhaps I have a head start.
