I've eaten some...Kadota is REALLY a very good fig. My friend is going to give me some cuttings from hers. She just moved into this house and the tree is HUGE!

Since you started Conadria thought I would post some pics of mine I had today.

Conadria

Taste: Very sweet, syrupy, strawberry aftertaste, more like strawberry pop-tart filling than strawberry fruit.

Size: large bushy tree, fast growing, large leaves, large figs.

20151026_165405.jpg

Hardiness: zone 12a  tight eye, ripened well in the rain, did not have any big splits or souring, no bugs bothered it.

Yum! Mine definitely doesn't taste strawberry... Its very sweet, syrupy which i like, but your eye is more open than mine, mine was tight i couldn't even see the fruit through it. Anyway, I couldn't get a new crop, had a breba crop though!  It's 3 feet tall and had a rough time putting energy into 13 Figs (lost lots of leaves). Also, for some reason mine is redder than yours, it looks like cherry syrup, lol, but these differences might be that i'm in Las Vegas
