Visited the Cotton Gin Festival in Bostwich, Georgia yesterday. Here is a highlight of the Fair, fig jam, produced from his 5 fully grown Brown Turkey trees:

Canning jam is an art, but an easy one. Here is a recipe for fig jam. Remember, the jars must be sterilized in a hot water bath. Fun to do!

Sounds yummy.... all you need with the jam is some brie, crackers and red wine ;)

That will definitely be on my to do list once I get figs. Recipe seemed nice and easy.

Ive had it just like that! Only my jam I had to buy at The grocery store. Yummy!

Oooh, looks like its easy! Soooo good! I will buy figs next season & make it!
