I am pruning my 2 Ronde de Bordeaux trees, that I am attempting to espalier. I have enough cuttings for about 10 packets. Being young trees, the cuttings are varied in size, but will have at least 3-4 nodes. I ask $5.00 for shipping, and will put 3-5 cuttings per pack. I know most collectors have this one, as it is a great fig, but if you don't, and you'd like it, just send me your address.

Wow, that was quick! Oh well next time! Figs are becoming extremely popular! In 3 hours you got 12 responses plus, amazing!
I have to pay better attention! I'm fairly new to growing figs, I have a lot to learn.

Melissa, here are pics of the espalier to be. 1st pic is from last July, 2014, when the 2 went in.

Well like I said in the PM, no worries if you can't do it. Leave me last, and any left over I'll take, if none, you're going to have to keep up this espalier so next year will work too. The espalier already looks awesome. i want to do this with a fruit tree, it's too cold for figs here. Most I grow in fabric bags. I'm still not sure what I will espalier? I am doing a red currant on a fence. Making a "T" form with the top of the T on the top of the fence. Here is one by a famous plant author. Mine is still forming. MEN-JJ09-currants-hanging.jpg

Gary, the fig espalier is really coming along, nice work! Looking forward to seeing it develop further. It's a very nice offer, you continue to be one of the most generous of all fig friends.

Thanks, Sarah. It looks a lot smaller after pruning, but it is taking shape.
Drew, the currant espalier is fabulous. In the past, I've done apples, pears, grapes and lemons. None prettier than that currant, though.

That currant espalier is fabulous.  Love the red against the foliage.

Gary Hi
Espeliering is still too much for me but ill see.

anyhow:
Currently i am growing a black mulbbery from bird dropping but tought about setting few pots aside for the Blackberries.

Are the blackberries easy fruit to grow in your opinion? they look cared for in your pictures.

Gary, your RdB cuttings just arrived and they look great.  Many thanks for the 2 bonus cuttings from my wish list.  Christmas came a little early this year. Thanks again.

Thanks, Gary this was super kind of you.  For those of you who jumped in less than 2 years ago, this was one of the more expensive figs 3 - 4 years ago.  Have patience for the more expensive ones now  :)

Gary,

I was one of the last ones to get some, and they rooted very quickly! Excellent variety, it sure rooted well! Thanks again for this excellent offer. The roots are well formed, looks like a go for me. Appreciate all you guys offering cuttings.  This is an excellent cultivar for my area too.
