Anyone in Dallas growing Peter’s Honey, Excel, or Kadota? I understand some honey figs requires lots of heat (which we have lots of in Texas) to develop its sugars and character. How has it been working out for you? Are you growing in containers or in-ground? |

Those three are the same fig. They do very well in lots of heat and in climates with long summers. Should do well in zone 8. |

As for planting it in ground vs keeping it in a pot.. I'd search through the forum to find out what works best for you. |
