Good luck Tom. Have you tried using super coarse perlite. They work great. |

Figaholics is closed for the season and will not offer cuttings again until next winter so the question of where to obtain PT cuttings is still a valid one. |

Looks like figmalaysia has, what looks like 300ish cuttings of Ponte tresa. They posted pics on their Facebook page. Not sure what countries Malaysia can ship to... |

I can't wait until next year - maybe year after that when PT starts to become easy to get. So many people have it now - it's only a matter of time before it's a relatively common fig. |

I appreciate the story of it's discovery and rise to attention, but ultimately what is of more interest is a. Can the taste be duplicated similarly in various US growing conditions and b. Is it accessible, without costing an arm and both legs? I hope the answer is yes to both because that vermillion pulp of the Ponte Tresa looks down right delicious. |
