Does anyone know if Sucrette is cold hardy.

As is often the case with figs, there is more than one of this variety.  There's the Sucrette from UC-Davis which I don't have.  Then there's the one from Baud which I got through MP.  The one from Baud is a pretty strong grower which might bode well for cold hardiness.  I'm am going to plant mine in ground in zone 7a so by this time next year I should know something about this.

Mine is from UC Davis, its about 2 feet tall with a half inch thick trunk which is a pretty nice size for a short tree and have not budded out yet as in my MSVS just started budding out and I heard the the MSVS is very cold hardy.
zone 8b we sometimes get what we call sneak freezes and it catches our trees off guard because of out warm spells during winter.

Thanks

I tried a few figs from UC Davis ,and none were cold hardy.
Of course with extreme Winter protection,I managed to keep alive Ischia Black, the rest ,of them all died ,about 10 cultivars i had.
