Is it search a thing as too much Lime on figs anyone? |

if you go strictly by their instructions in the belleclare fig brochure (page 3), it appears they fertilized their container figs every 2 weeks with miracle-grow 15-30-15. so I am guessing they needed that much lime to offset the impact of the fertilizer on the soil. i don't fertilize that often, therefore i don't think I need that much lime. but to answer your question (i am not an expert), i think too much lime may adversely affect the fig tree |

Thanks so much for posting this. Some of the names of the fig trees were hard to understand. Does anyone know what #1, 2, 3, and 7 were?

Hey Mara I have one of the Weeping Sports from Belleclare It's an Italian Ever bearing variety It's an excellent tasting fig and it only bears fruit at the end of the branches |
