My tree is about 8 yrs old and this is the first year that figs ripen evenly without splitting. Good flavor, tender skins, sweet, mild, has a bit of honey like taste, very enjoyable. Tree grows fast, above average length between nodes.y2 inside.jpg y4 whole fig.jpg y5 leaf.JPG

I wouls say peters honey. Not a white marceils. Cant spell W M.

The taste seems to match descriptions I've read for PH. What doesn't is that they are ripening (this year) same time as my Celeste (late July) and others have said PH doesn't ripen till Sept-Oct. There seems to be several variations of "PH", some red inside, some with 3 lobed leaves.
