Attached are 2 images showing an unknown fig tree that my friend gave me in June from air layered in April) Size is abt 4 ft tall potted in 5 gal bucket. Everything look great to me except 2 fruits suddenly dropped off in 4 days. I weighted and they were about 58 grams or 80% ripen. I water it daily. Does anyone know why this happened as I am afraid the others will drop off accordingly.

Dropped fruit is usually due to some form of stress; water issue, sudden temp changes, etc.

Thanks. It might be too many water involved. I better water it just a little less to see what happen.

The first one dropped while weather was very nice with temperature 23C, the second one dropped while temperature was down to 17C from 21C.

For me I think I might water it too many daily. I will try to water it less to see what happen.
