Leon, my Romagnolo is from Vivaio Belfiore near Florence , unfortunately I don't have any pictures, if I can beat my grandkids to it , I will take a picture. Try locking for Fico Romagnolo pictures

Phil, the Melanzana is from you, thanks. I went out in rain this morning to rescue it and this other bunch, I should have gotten them yesterday with the rest , I was kind of hoping the weather man was wrong.

Pino, That's #300 Melanzana Calabrese from Phil Kobal 145 gm and delicious considering the rain

Wow, that looks amazing not at all like the other versions circulating.
Did it actually come from Calabria?

Pino, maybe Phil will chime in and tell us where he got it from

Beautiful figs, Mario... Happy, happy time when you can collect so many good looking figs.... Phil... Do you have a US source info for the #300 Melanzana Calabrese? Seems like an awesome fig and likely cold hardy enough for my zone 6A...

Thanks,
Tony

Tony, the #300 is just my own code for my records. And I'm in zone 6a so it should produce for you ( in pot or protected). Your welcome to stop by if you're in this area

The bowls of figs would make a great framed picture.

Nice photos of some beautiful figs Mario. Thank you for sharing. I also tasted a few of the Melanzana Calabrese from the same source. Amazing how quick this tree grew and produced figs this year.
