The guy is definitely legit! Just put up nine more hoop houses this year to fill orders. I would buy but I would end up buying 50 plants and my wife would flip haha |

I'm invested $$$ in these guys, hope they come through! Already been burned by dried out cuttings from European Ebay cutting suppliers due to the month long shipping times. |
He started out selling just cuttings, now he sells trees too, he owns a nursery, he's very trustworthy, he does sometimes let more orders go through than maybe he should yet he is an unusually hard worker and he tries very hard to make things go as smoothly as possible, especially when he can not keep a deadline, at this point he must be loosing money because of problems he did not expect to happen, and because of his low prices. He tries very hard to make sure he has the real thing as well. If you order from him, just in case expect him to not ship in time especially if you order something in big demand like Ponte Tresa, or something that is a poor rooter like figo preto. Me for his prices I do not mind the delay.
Thank you Alan. |

He has a great selection coupled with good prices, can't wait for him to get a little more settled in and see what new varieties he chooses to add! |

Though I have never bought cuttings, I have previously done several trades with Greenfin (James), |

I bought cuttings from him last year, and they came very fresh. They appear to be true to type as well although I haven't eaten any figs from them yet:) |

I have ordered about 12-14 trees from this site, it was recommended to me by a trusted member of another Forum. I know that they are running behind with orders - per their email updates, but is supposed to be legit. My trees are not due to be delivered until March of 2017, which is fine. Hopefully they will have caught up on back orders by then. Good luck! I chose to receive trees, not just cuttings as I am still a new grower, and I'm not great at starting new cuttings yet. And I ordered a Ponte Tresa as well as several more! |

I'm not at all worried about the delay. You have to remember that if a 1 yr old tree produces 4 clones in 4 months then 5 trees will produce 20 clones in that same time. In the mean time the older trees will produce 8 or more clones in 3 months. So the number of trees produced would rise exponentially if they all produced at the same rate but the larger root mass of the older trees will make them produce even faster. Catching up and then exceeding demand is pretty much inevitable. |

Ok my bad, now I have to be concerned if I ordered the same trees. I definitely don't need 4 of the same trees! |
