I've seen a few youtube videos where they dip the cut ends into hot wax before putting to storage or shipping. I will try with regular candle wax instead of the sealant to see how that works. |

I wonder about painting the cuttings with indoor latex paint.. similar to what nurseries recommend to prevent sun scald on new trees with no real bark development. Even diluted paint. Should help prevent some transpiration, I would think. |

I have had cuttings in a ziplock after sitting in the crisper drawer a full year take off and root. |
