With all the talk I have seen here Re poms I wanted to offer some cuttings of an old variety that I need to prune again. I have not seen an exact copy of it on the internet. It is orange/peach with cream tips and a single ruffled full flower. My house was built in 1926 and my neighbor and I have them both. The fruit is blonde and has edible seeds and tastes like citrus and honey. Here they bloom twice, once all spring long and once our summer rains come. They have survived here through plenty of cold winters. 6 years ago we didn't go above freezing for a week and much of it near zero. All trees were against rock walls. Roughly 3800' elevation. Most cuttings will be finger to pencil size. I will probably have a wheelbarrow worth, however plenty of it will be too small. I would love to make a straight trade for any fig varieties. Or I could send them as long as you cover shipping. |

I could swap some rooted cuttings, send them in the spring if you were interested. |

Keep in mind the weather. Our lows are barely freezing if at all,but I know a big part of y'all are really cold now. I recently had stuff sent from the east coast with zero problems though. |

Also this cultivar went about 15 years with no care, closer to 20 years on my neighbors property. I didn't touch it the first year except to remove dead growth. The second year I pruned it after it went dormant from about 10-12' to 6-8' and did quite a bit of thinning. It sported out heavily again and I need to focus on the larger branches. It was about an 8" multi trunk about 18" wide before neglect. Same next door. |

All cuttings have now been spoken for. I certainly hope you can enjoy them like I have! Good luck! (I hate autocorrect) |
