I pulled about 5 figs off the tree today. They were Swollen and drooped a good amount. Very flavorful. Almost with a berry type flavor.

That Fig looks very firmiliar! I guess for now I have a Tentative LSU Scotts Black label on it. This wouldnt make sense seeing your tree traces back to Sicily. Ill keep an eye on this post as well.

Thanks for the help so far. Heres some pics of the leaves and unripe fruit.  I didnt find any 3 lobed leafs. Also I've noticed the eye of the fruit is red very early on, well before any ripening. Let me know what you think and thanks again for the help.

Hello All, is there a "Better" or "Worse" time to start an Air Layer or Propagate Some shoots? I live in CT and Im worried about the trees/Newly planted shoots going Dormant before they get a good start up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

@Rafed, my name is Mike and I'm from CT. I feel the same way, as long as I get them to flourish Its a small price to pay. Got cracked for $0.75 per Fig today at the farmers market!!
