I guess it is now time for me to leave this forum, no reason to explain why as I believe each may realize why.

I have only recently joined this forum but I think offers and threads as this are crap. Sorry I feel that way but it just brings out the worst in all of us. Most of us on here have the means and resources to obtain what we want without begging. If this is what I can expect in the future I will just let it go and be satisfied with the few very commom varieties that has satisfied many generations where I live.

We have the same here in Florida. Except we call the cougars panthers. Rattlesnakes the size you could only imagine.Coyotes that have eaten most of the outside cats. Many different hawks. Some really huge. But the gophers we have make some of the best soup. Really, during the Great Depression, Gopher tortoise was known as the “Hoover Chicken” because they were eaten by poor people out of work. Some people see gopher tortoise meat as a delicacy, or as simply a free source of meat.

I also ordered 6 black mission from Wellspring Gardens in Florida. They are tissue culture. I have had them less than four months. They have grown faster than kuduz (google). The only problem with them they put out many suckers. Keep them to three or four shoots for a bush. Mine are now 2.5 to 3 feet. in less than four months starting at less than 6". Don't forget to feed these things. I have read many times about not using excess nitrogen, especially for tomatoes. Wrong. Use it and the plant will respond. We will worry about production when we have a larger tree.Forgot to mention, I will be 66 in Feburary.

Use Physan/water mixture instead of bleach/water mixture. Wash the cuttings, rinse in the physan mixture, air dry. Mix up a gallon of it then wet your s-moss with the left over. Squeeze s-moss to damp.

I sent an email to the order desk asking about previous orders on the old form. Here is their response:

We will be filling the orders previously placed on the old order form system.  There is a backlog due to the transition from the old form to using the online system.  If you have not received confirmation of your order, please be patient and you should receive confirmation within the next few weeks.

The old ordering form has disappeared from the site. Site was revised 9/20/12. Orders no longer go to Bernie (Previous orders to Bernie for this year ???????) May explain why some have received no conformation.New deadline Nov. 1st.

I know February is still a long way off and what was true last year may not be the next.I was looking at the instructions for ordering for a previous year and it said the cost was $3 and cutting amounts were 1 to 3 for each variety. Is that $3 for each cutting or $3 for each variety. Like I said Feb. is nowhere close but I am starting to assemble a list of desirables. I need an idea as to cost before I come up with a list I may not be able to afford. I am new at this so a little coaching will be appreciated.

Also, this current listing originally had a buy it now option for $80, but the seller has taken that down after a few early bids.
Truth woven with lies...

The BIN price goes away with the first bid.

I recently tried to order some cuttings. Was told they were taking no more orders this year but was not told when they will start next year.
