I could try to order or buy cuttings, but I would like to buy the whole tree if I can, without babying a cutting into a tree for the next three years.
I have seen fig trees for sale at nurseries and places like Whole Foods but they are all things like Black Mission or Black Italian, Texas Everbearing. I actually have a bunch of mystery figs, I think Brown Turkey or Celeste, or Texas Everbearing, that I grew from cuttings I took from a neighbor's fig, but the figs are usually dry and not very good.
I think I am probably going to end up getting a cutting from somewhere, but I don't really know where the best place to get them is, either. It's not really the right time for cuttings so if I go that route I will plan for it in the fall, but until then I thought I would ask here, to see if anyone knows where to find one.
