Hi guys.... thanks for your input, i might not make my question clear :)

It should be...

"What if when you are on travelling, and you saw a fig tree in the wild, and there are few riped fruit on the tree... and some riped/dropped/dried fruit on the floor.... can you tell by "theory" or "good way to guess" if this var do required polination ?

How do you determine if a specific var required polination if you dont see it's fruit?

This is how i "guess"...

1.) If i dont see small fruits dropping on the ground (small fruit/immatured fruit would dropped if not polinated ) for those which required polination.

but then... i have a question....

Question:
For those var which need NOT required polination.... will the seeds from it sprout? Yes ? No? Why ?

Hi guys... Normally how long a figs takes from growing til ripe? My figs grow from cutting... About 3 ft in height... I water them everyday....(I'm from Malaysia... With constant 27-34 degree Celsius) I use chicken manure as fertilizer.... Fertilize once a week.... Any idea? Am I over fertilize the plant?

The species having this problem is...

-Celeste
-black bathelem
-black Salem
-Brooklyn white.

Are those varieties suitable for tropical climate?

Hi All,
Finally i got some cutting :)
i use 2 type of rooting medium...

1.) Perlite + cocopeat
2.) Spag moss

Species :
Celeste
Black Bethelem.
Black Salem
Broklyn white.

After 11 days.

only 3 cutting showing new buds (i have 9 cutting in total).

so, my question is... normally how long we will see new buds or root after we pot the cutting?

I'm from Malaysia, weather is hot and humid... i leave them under the shelter and no direct sun.. the medium alway moist.
