Tim look up using a trellis system for your trees. My cousin is doing it for his farm for his apple trees. He planted them pretty close together he said doing so causes the fruit to produce earlier than it normally would spaced out. Also he can put more trees up on less land.

This is a cutting from a tree that came about from some one throwing away their black mission figs from Trader Joes. Last year I had roots on and some bud but it didn't make it. For some strange reason I didn't throw it away. It didn't do nothing last year and now its shooting up! Needless to say I have some cutting that didn't make it so I just stuck them in a pot and left them outside. Look out next year for the update. Behind it is a pomegranate tree.

Dominick's Italian fig that I received from coop951. Thanks again coop! I have some figs over a year old know and taller and no figs in sight. Maybe I added to much azomite I don't know.

Just checked my cuttings I was attempting to root only to find mold all over the place. Luckily that was only two out of the four cuttings :p

I do. However I kept mine in a smaller pot too long. As soon as I put it in a bigger pot it shot up 3 ft. That thing is on steroids!!!!!!!!!! lol How did yours do?

There is a nursery in virginia beach selling unknown fig trees for $30.00. They are about 5 ft tall. Well at least they were honest in saying they didn't know.

:) Thank you. My in laws have a lot of land in the country so its going to be full of figs ;) I looked at the branch in water and it has two more figs on it. I need to hurry up and get this thing to root.
