Richard, as a seller, you should not have given my house address to anyone without my permission. You did this perhaps to remedy the wrong doing. Thank you. I will not use this forum to spark off more than what have been said.

Frank - thank you for the link. it confirmed that i did not get Strawberry Verte from the cuttings puchased.

Danny, i opened this thread because seller refused to refund or send replacement cuttings. if you read my first post, i do not even expose seller's name. In my country, i can bring this matter up to a small tribunal court and am positive I will get my refund. My question was what is the normal way forum members deal with this matter. i concluded that seller here is friend, wrap up and forget the whole thing! LOL!

Richard insisted that i give him a US address to send the replacement cuttings. i do not stay in the US. Those in the US, please claim on my behalf 12 cuttings that cost me USD70 from Richard. Deal with him directly, postage should be free. We are all friends after all.

richard, you knew exactly what you were doing in giving me those wrong cuttings. now you are accusing me of scamming. for the rest to know , we have people from malaysia buying cuttings through mail from the states upto now . Richard can sleep well while God is watching you?

thank you all for your comments. i do agree that we make mistakes but we would be responsible for it too.

Scott, it is sad. we all love fig and there are many good people and very few that are unscrupulous.

Frank, i agree with you. i will let the seller see your comment and see how he will react to it.

I purchased some cuttings last summer in the US. Being new to the fig world then, i did not realised that the varierty that I purchased is not what they are supposed to be. The seller admitted that it could be a mistake made by seller in the process of delivery. I live in Malaysia and the postal charge is high for seller to send replacement cuttings in which case seller refused to send.

My question - what is the normal way members in this forum deal with such case? if you have the experience.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and tips. I followed this forum, good source of info.
I will drive from los angeles upto buffalo and will be on US side of niagara falls.
I live close to Kuala Lumpur.
We get plenty of rain here. My potted figs are under those clear poly roof.
I hope to get those cuttings besides a good holiday. IT would be a bonus.

hello all.
My name is Maznah . Just started with figs. I have few varieties planted recently namely Black Jack, Tgif, green jordan and few others from China. All are in pots.

I will be holidaying in US early June. I will go to grand canyon, niagara falls and Washington dc. Can anyone tell me where I can buy cuttings in those places.
