Hello,  I have located every known LSU fig identified including a number of unknowns.  The only one I cannot find is the LSU DC 1.  Does anyone have it?  Even if you do not want to trade or sell it I would be content to know if you have it.

But even better, if you do have it and want to sell a cutting or trade for something else let me know.  A group of us are interested in it and between us we have hundreds of fig varieties with many of them rare.

If anyone has any information or leads on the DC 1 that would be appreciated as well.  Thanks!

I found Dr. Sidney Thibodeaux's obituary online.  I thought it would be fitting to post it here in his honor.

Here is some interesting information about him from the obituary:

He received a B.A. degree from Tulane University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from LSU. He worked at several LSU Agricultural Experiment Stations and taught at Nicholls State University. He was a member of Sigma Xi. He was known for his love of plants, teaching and reading.

I second the advice to talk with CajunB.  He has most if not all of the LSU varities and knows a LOT about there backgrounds and the people who helped care and develop them.  I have bought a good number from him and enjoy the knowledge I have learned from him as much as the plants I buy from him.  You wont go wrong.  I live in the same area as well.

Hello,

Does anyone have any reason to feel that o.coutard on e-bay is not selling what he is representing? He has a number that I would be interested in but want to make sure I am getting what I am paying for.

Thanks!
