Bought this fig tree 2 years ago from atwoods and i don't remember what it was because the dog ate it all the way to the ground last year i thought it was lost. Then this year it grew 5 foot and now I'm getting figs off of it. They only sell Brown Turkey Celeste or Mission.  Thanks for your help.

Walked outside and looked at one and there are slugs on some of them will that hurt them?

Lol its not particle board I put mulch around them.

The root system was awesome before i planted them.   Next time i will make sure that i put them in the shade for a couple of weeks before i plant them. Thanks for the help. i will read John's thread.

No i just planted them didn't know i should acclimate them.  They are in full sun.  I have 8 of them planted and they are all doing this. Thought they would like full sun.

All my trees that i started out in cups are not looking good.  Can you tell me what is happening?  Should i be watering these every day?  They were in the ground for 1 week and started to do this. 20160425_202241.jpg

How big is the peach tree?  Can you put a blanket over it or a tarp?  That will protect it from the frost.

Okay so i started my cutting 1 month ago. I started them in water with some root growth powder.  It took about 1 to 2 weeks to get little root nubs.  Then i went to Lowes and bought some Miracle-Gro dirt for cuttings.  Used a soldering iron to burn holes in some plastic cups. now most of them have roots.  I will plant this weekend outside 4/09/16.

I now have 31 fig tree cuttings that i have to start. :) looks like most of everyone that i bought was from this forum so i got lucky.i  Bought the LEBANESE BLACK/PURPLE from Nixgardens and they already have leaves after 2 weeks. Tahoma i should get yours today or tomorrow.  I started the rest in water and they grew roots i planted them last night in cups with some soil i bought from Lowes. Didn't know you couldn't buy any from Turkey they went thru customs and i got them in last night.  Don't know if i should mess with them or not.  I got these from Turkey

Hello Everyone i am new to this forum.  Last year I bought 2 fig trees and now I'm hooked I bought some cuttings off ebay. Some of them might be from this forum.  I'm currently rooting LEBANESE BLACK/PURPLE FIG TREE, Dark Portuguese, Negretta Fig.  I live in Oklahoma and they do well here.  Just wanted to say hi and i really enjoy reading the forum.

What kind of dirt are you using?  I have some starting to make roots and they are setting in a jar of water and want to pot them before i stick them in the ground.
