Subject: Precoce de dalmatie- which one is the real one? Replies: 1

There's a confusion on this particular variety in my country as there's been argument on which are the real & which are the fake or wrongly tagged variety.

One type is a yellowish skin & flesh when riped & the leaves are similar to dalmatie type thin lobe

Another type are darker when riped with dark red skin & reddish flesh

Both came from different source & claiming their's are the actual Precoce de Dalmatie

Seem like the de la signora(italian) is a different with the de la senyora(spanish) fig. As the de la signora look a bit reddish and the de la senyora is a greenish fig

Does this description talking about the same "de la signora'?

Medium vigorous tree, trilobal leaves 60%, whole 40%, with shallow interlobular space. The early figs ripen from 30/06 to 15/07, are tapered, long neck, ostiole closed, average weight 90/100 gr. Redskin or purple, light pink color pulp, juicy, medium firm, very fine from which it derives its name. The figs ripen from 20/08 to 20/10 and are similar to the early figs with an average weight of 65 gr. Excellent resistance to handling, suitable for local consumption.
