Do you realize how hard pissing contests can be?! Please take a hint from the 6,000+ other members who are not piss-contesting!

Pofigist, no offense mate, but this is so childish, you think that someone screwed you up with the USDA, so you decide to screw all American fig hobbyists?!! Do you actually know how much time, effort and money it takes to look after one's collection?! I don't know about the US, but here, down under, I didn't see this kind of attitude since primary school.

Mate, honestly, don't use a sledgehammer to crack a nut!

In general, Egyptians call common fig "Teen Barshoumi" and they call Prickly Pear "Teen Shouki", teen means fig in Arabic.

Faiyumi fig means the fig produced in Faiyum, a city in Egypt. Honestly, there are various varieties that can be found in the local market as many fig farmers have their own heirloom varieties in their orchards.

I think it's the lights; either lights are too strong or too close to the humidity bin.

If overwatering is the cause, leaves will droop not curl and shrivel like this.

Some varieties can tolerate a strong light (sun or artificial) and some do not.

"Mehetal" means the one who cons others, a con man. Never heard of this fig.

Also, Izbat an Naj, the name translates to "The hamlet of a small settlement". It is not known in Egypt, unless it's a collector's fig.

Spot on, shill bidding at its best. Almost 5 seconds between bids from the same "buyer", this seller must be named and shamed!

Hey guys, Tarek here from Adelaide, Australia.  [/Venting] I have been a silent reader for a long time, but the likes of this seller pisses me off. To get cuttings down under means that, most likely, is to buy from ebay..

This guy screams fraud, is it a coincidence that the only cuttings he sells are the rare ones?! The Jolly Tiger he claims it was reverted because otherwise the buyer will know sooner than the other cuttings if it was not.

I might be paranoid, but I have been scammed couple of times from the likes of him. [/Venting off]

Now, getting this off my chest, Spring is starting here and soon I will post pixes of my collection.

Thanks for reading and I'm happy to finally introduce myself.
